Legacy Pharma Packaging Moves to New HQ

Expands production capabilities with ten new packaging lines

Legacy Pharmaceutical Packaging has completed its move into a modernized 190,000-sq.-ft. production facility in St. Louis, MO, which will also serve as the company’s headquarters. At twice the size of its previous facility, the company has made additions and upgrades to its production and customer service capabilities, including ten new packaging lines.

The facility contains a new Drug Enforcement Administration-approved Schedule II vault that can hold as many as 300 pallets of product. The DEA vault fully meets federal regulation code 21CFR 1301.72, the governing specification for pharmaceutical applications. The plant has Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributor status, relating to Legacy’s abilities to prevent potentially counterfeit drugs from entering the U.S. drug supply.

The new headquarters will also house a 1,500-sq.-ft. training facility, which provides a dedicated area for equipment operators and packaging specialists.
